Douglas Smith, Visual effects artist, Writer, Director, Oscar Winner. Douglas Smith is a special effects artist who is best known as one of the people who won at the 69th Academy Awards for Best Visual Effects on the film Independence Day. He won with Volker Engel, Clay Pinney and Joe Viskocil. He is also known for Star Wars (1977) and Never Say Never Again (1983). His most recently works at Fengshen Trilogy ( 2021); Diary of a Wimpy Kid ( 2021) and has been worked over 40+ Hollywood and international films |

Anna Chi; Director, Writer, Producer Anna Chi is a Chinese-born writer, director and producer whose wide-ranging career has spanned two continents and more than two decades. She has directed narrative features including Blindness, Dim Sum Funeral ,Cicada Summer, and The Disappearance of Mrs. Wu ( the best director award in 2022 Universe Multicultural Film Festival), the animated feature The Boxcar Children: Surprise Island (Best director award in 2018 San Diego International Kid’s Film Festival )and the short film Swimming (Best Dram Short Film in 2020 Universe Multicultural Film Festival) |

Sherwood Jones; Writer/Producer Sherwood started making films at age 11, armed with a Super 8 movie camera. In his preteens, he dove into an intense study of film, which lead to a B.A. in Cinema & Photography from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Fine Arts in Film from Ohio University, where his thesis film won an award in the Student Academy Awards competition. He entered the film industry as an editor, and has served in that capacity on 20 feature films. He has also been Post Production Supervisor on 25 features. He continues to write and direct his own personal film projects. He has been chairman of San Diego International Kids’ Film Festival since 2013. |
